Skynet Terror Begins

This is starting to sound ominous. The Huff Post reports the death of Americans by drone strike. The US government and military will target American nationals in other countries regardless of Due Process or their Civil Rights or Capture or Trial Court of Legal Proceedings, if they are in the wrong place, wrong time during a drone strike, and/or connected by association/relation with terrorists, and suddenly marked for death by robotic “Skynet-like” drones. The US public is aware of this and prays and hopes this futuristic weapon is never used on American soil or on American citizens that violate their Civil Rights. *Civil Rights: The rights belonging to an individual by virtue of citizenship, especially the fundamental freedoms and privileges guaranteed by the 13th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution and by subsequent acts of Congress, including civil liberties, due process, equal protection of the laws, and freedom from discrimination. *Note: Skynet HK drones were Hunter-Killer robotic flying machines from the film Terminator built to seek out and destroy the enemy.

SPACE SHUTTLE ENDEAVOUR GLIDES OVER LA

After about twenty years in service the space shuttle Endeavour is retiring. For nearly 30 years the space shuttle program has operated as the public's best known space vehicles and now officially has come to an end, and some wonder does NASA have a replacement program set in place to continue manned mission in space? Some say we may have bigger and better space ships, hidden away in some secret military installation, while other speculate robots and AI machine will take over exploration of outer space. I certainly want to see man missions to Mars and a return to the Moon.

For what ever the reasons to discontinued the space shuttle program, economic or simply obsolete, nevertheless, the news of the final space shuttle was broadcast all over America. As reported in the Los Angeles Times a week ago, it is still intriguing to see and read about the fly-bye of the last of the space shuttle. The Endeavour space shuttle buzzed over LA and San Fransisco flying low enough for everyone to see. A completely awestruck once in a lifetime experience to behold. Later, after safety landing at LAX, the shuttle will stay a few weeks there before making its final journey over the streets of Los Angeles as it travels to its new home at the California Science Center.

The Future Of A.I.

Many people are simply amazed at what our computers are capable of doing for them, and more amazed by how smart they are, responding almost like ordinary people if not better. With the global integration of smart-machine driven devices like iPhones and handheld mini-super computers making our lives better, there is a slight downside to this rising A.I. (artificial intelligence) taking over nearly all aspect of our lives, our tools, our machines, and electronic devices. But today many top engineers fear that machines are becoming far more intelligent faster than was thought possible. A growing existential threat could be happening if we as humans are not careful with the technological progression of dominating machines moving at a much faster evolutionary state than its creators. From private industries to the US military, all are working toward creating super artificial intelligent machines that will surpass human level intelligence that function perfectly and autonomously like in some science fiction movie.
